We offer a wide range of options for setting the “from” and “to” points of your journeys. These include, with examples below each:
Postcode – simply enter the postcode
“HP20 1UA” (the space can be omitted)
Address – write this in the normal way
“12 Prospect Road, Tunbridge Wells”. (We plan to the centre of the postcode area for the address.)
A town or village – enter the name of the town or village
“Colchester”. We plan to a point near its centre.
A rail station - these are named "Station-Name Rail Station"
“Faversham Rail Station” or "Euston Rail Station"
A bus stop – the name of the town or village, followed by the recognised name of the stop, or the road on which the stop is situated.
“Winslow Redfield Farm” (the name of the stop) or
“Winslow Buckingham Road” (the name of the road on which the stop is located).
A Point of Interest (poi). This covers a wide range of locations – public buildings, tourist locations, shopping centres, health and education locations, etc.
“White Rock Theatre Hastings”
A point on a map – at any time you can click the “map” button – and then right-click a point on that map to submit that as a location. To search for a location you can double-click (or use the scale bar) to zoom in and out, and can move the map in any direction using the mouse (or the map-control buttons).
The “map” button also provides a way of checking a location of any selected point.
